Upcycled Doorway to Dutch Doorway

Final March I was lucky adequate to location a “Free Stuff” pile just outside of our community. And in it, was a sound wood, eight panel doorway.
I believed it was great.
Will believed I was mad.

Not only did we reduce out the best 4 panels and swap them with glass, but we turned it into a Dutch Doorway and I could not be happier with the end consequence!

Dutch Doorway Action six: Ending Touches
We stained the ledge on the bottom 50 percent to match the glass trim pieces and also re-positioned a modest piece of components that was on the doorway when we to start with picked it up. I have no notion what it was utilized for, but it is aged and aged and I like it!
We also included a sliding lock on the again of the doorway to retain the best and bottom jointly, when wished.
I was giddy when it was all said and carried out!
And eight months later…I still am!
